Contribution No. 38: grant procedures of the Foundation for the Sorbian People
The Foundation for the Sorbian People promoted the resale of an already full with funds of rd. TDM bus 450 paid Theater for the second time with another 47 TDM through State grant funds.
addition to other defects of the Saxon Court has noted in its review:
In 1991, for the purchase of a bus for the Sorbian National Ensemble 100% of funds from the federal government, Brandenburg and Saxony have been made available. In 2000, the Foundation subsidized the sale of this bus by the Sorbian National Ensemble of the German-Sorbian Theatre again with 47.1 thousand. This was for the same bus a total of approx. 499.7 TDM from tax revenues spent, even though it cost only 452.6 thousand. The Foundation should undo the double funding To make but felt that it had acted correctly, a two-time funding was not provided.
These funds, also as funding through the end of 2000 across the Foundation, the repayment of unused funds to the tune of 105 TDM circumvented, since also the personal contribution came the German-Sorbian Folk Theatre of 58.6 TDM funding from the Foundation.
The Saxon Court has called for making the double funding of the bus rückgängigm and repay the grant funds.
